Why Should I Get Involved?

Cat overpopulation is a serious issue in the United States, and there are inevitably many unwanted cats who end up suffering as a result. Every donation and adoption helps us improve the health and safety of outdoor cats.

Be an Active Community Member

Chances are there is a colony of community or feral cats somewhere near you or you know of someone whose outdoor cats are unaltered. If you see cats in need of spaying/neutering, reach out to us so we can help. Advocate saving innocent cats’ lives through spaying and neutering amongst your family, friends, and community circles. We also encourage you to consider adopting instead of shopping for pets.

Donate

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are volunteers that rely solely on your donations to help alleviate the suffering of free-roaming cats. Along with spaying and neutering come related costs such as transportation, food, and occasionally other medications or procedures. Please consider a secure, tax-deductible donation - any amount helps!

Donate from our Wishlists

We have over 100 cats and kittens in our care on any given day and go through over 100 lbs of cat litter and 24 pounds of dry food EVERY SINGLE DAY. Donating from our wishlists on Amazon and Chewy helps reserve our very limited budget for urgent veterinary care and spay/neutering. It’s an enormous help whenever we receive gifts from our wishlists!

Adopt a Cat

Our ultimate goal is to spay and neuter Montgomery County’s free-roaming community cats in an effort to lower intake numbers in our shelter and rescues. But not all cats and kittens are suited for life on the streets and these wonderful felines are available for adoption! Our volunteers, foster families, and our veterinarians have taken amazing care of them and they are looking forward to a comfy, loving home!
