Meet Pete!
Friends, meet Pete! Poor Pete had been wandering outside in below 0 temps and was covered in injuries. His tail was almost all the way bitten/torn off, he had a large stomach wound, and frostbite on his ears.
We were able to bring him to the vet and his tail was amputated, his frostbitten ear was tipped, his stomach wound was closed, and he was neutered. Our vet estimates he's barely a year old--basically still a kitten.
When he was found, he was also so malnourished that if his stitches opened, he wouldn’t have enough skin to reclose them. It's been an absolutely heartbreaking situation for Pete and he’s just one of the over 100 cats that Cats Limited is caring for right now. He's been through so much and has a long road ahead. Your donations help cats like Pete and we’re so grateful for every single donation!

We rely exclusively on donations to spay, neuter, feed, and give medical treatment to the free-roaming cats of Montgomery County. Many cats require specialized medical treatments, medications, and surgeries beyond spaying and neutering as well and your donations fund those life-saving treatments and care.
